PUSHLiving Wheelchair Lifestyle Videos presents Deborah J. Davis demonstrating how swimming can benefit focus and health with a spinal cord injury. Utilizing a water hydraulic pool lift, she is able to transfer independently and do laps as a c-6-7 quadriplegic (incomplete with triceps and hand function). Many local YMCA or local gyms have pools with lifts on can utilize or you can ask for accommodations in public spaces or residential communities to help you get back in the water.
