PUSHLiving Social Experiment: Random Strangers Share Thoughts on Dating a Wheelchair User

PUSHLiving Social Experiment: Random Strangers Share Thoughts on Dating a Wheelchair User

Goal of this Experiment

To determine how people with disabilities are viewed as dating / love interests.

Random people are selected and shown a headshot image of an attractive man and woman. They are asked if they would “swipe right” which refers to saying YES to a potential connection.

They are then shown the same model, but this time a full body image depicting them as a wheelchair user.

What we discovered may surprise you.

Our Goal:

To motivate and empower disabled people to not fear the dating world.

Shaina Louis Jean, PR and marketing coordinator of PUSHLiving.com produced video in Los Angeles. Direction by Aleksander Braun. Featuring PUSHLivingPhotos.com Models Carmen Joachim and Bing Wheels. Produced by Shaina Louis-Jean, Marketing and Public Relations for PUSHLiving.com.

“We know it is just a video and just random people on the street, but if this small video makes you or anybody else who feels uncomfortable entering the dating scene, more confident it was worth doing it. You are beautiful. Never let your disability overshadow your smile. “
