Wheelie Favorite Things – Edition 3

ABL Denim:

Founded by longtime mainstream fashion designer Stephanie Alves, ABL Denim is the most recent adapted jean manufacturer to hit to the scene.  She first started out as a tailor for people with disabilities (inspired by her sister’s mobility needs), but is now branching out into making clothing. She had a booth at the LA Abilities Expo this year, but the biggest news is that she won her Kickstarter campaign last month, giving her company the money it needs to make clothing drafts, which they’ll use when they start manufacturing the jeans. She has four different styles, and offers unique washes you can’t find anywhere else. Check out the Jeans here: https://store.pushliving.com/search?q=abldenim

‘Beyond Disability’ adapted yoga DVD:

From the awesome adapted yoga studio Mind Body Solutions, this DVD brings adapted yoga right into your home (if an adapted studio isn’t near you), making it great idea for people who live in remote areas.  And what’s great about this DVD is that it only shows yoga positions that you can do in your wheelchair, making it something you can put on and do without anyone helping you. The DVD features three different people with disabilities and is broken down into three different segments. “Beyond Disability” is available for purchase on Amazonhttp://www.mindbodysolutions.org/shop/

Smart Planet EC-59 Hydro 1 Borosilicate Glass Bottle with Silicone, 20-Ounce

This bottle will not only make you feel better about not adding plastic bottles to the environment, and save you from seeping toxins from plastic bottles that get warm, but you will also love how it looks, makes your water taste and makes you want to keep it filled up! It is also has a great and colorful silicone wraps (love the green! And got a red one for my husband) that provide a slip-proof grip.  It also makes it less breakable if (when, in my case) you happen to drop it. This glass bottle is both dishwasher and microwave safe.  It is only 8 ½ inches in circumference so easy to get hand around. You can put it in your water bottle holder and it stays put due to the rubber as well.  The top is not a screw out but a soft silicone “plug” that you can push on and grip off.

While for Americans it is not a budget Country due to Euro/Dollar conversion and it happens to be the 3nd most expensive Country to visit for Tourist according to TripAdvisor.com, the food (many Vegan options), clean air, flowers everywhere, accessibility, and the cleanliness makes it one of our favorite cities.

The most expensive cities
