PUSHLiving Podcast #22: Anna Schmid, Sex and Relationships

Let’s Talk about Sex and Relationships with Model Anna Schmid

Welcome to another PUSHliving Podcast.  We are excited to welcome Anna Schmid

Anna is a model with a disability in her early 30’s who uses a power chair to roll through her ever-fascinating life in her new home with her adorable boyfriend.

We wanted to share Anna’s story after she recently penned a very intimate and honest feature detailing her sexual history as a woman with a disability overcoming stereotypes about her ability to have and enjoy sex.

The point of the article was to break down these misconceptions many in the non-disability world have about those of us who roll by answering their most asked questions.

Not only did Anna’s feature break this stereotype by clearly communicating that disability does not mean non-sexual, but she smashed it with a sled-hammer.  Read more about these “confessions” in Anna’s somewhat shocking but stimulating new age sexuality on PUSHLiving.com.

Today we want to explore with Anna the reasons behind what made her want to write the story and learn more about how women like her, find their way in this new world of dating, relationships and LOVE.

What you will learn from Anna on this Episode:

Anna will share how she became disabled.

We need to make more of an effort to improve our lives via the significant human interactions we all need to sustain our mental and physical health. Studies show that social interaction is necessary to prevent depression, as well as the positive physical effects of touch, eye to eye contact and mental stimulation we gain by actually being in the physical presence of others.
